Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 14 October 2026 · Applies from publication

Please read these terms alongside your quotation or order. Nothing on this page limits rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable UAE law.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

etechworks is a UAE-based company located in Dubai, UAE. These terms apply to etechworks.com and to technology services, software, and hardware supplied directly by etechworks under an accepted quotation, order, or agreement.

The contracting supplier’s legal identity and business details must be stated in your quotation or contract. Product-specific app terms and third-party platform rules may also apply to purchases made through an app store or another seller.

2. Quotations, orders, and agreements

Before you commit to a purchase, the quotation or order confirmation will identify the scope, specifications, price, applicable taxes, delivery arrangements, payment schedule, warranty, and any cancellation conditions. An enquiry alone does not place an order.

Please check the details and request clarification before accepting. Changes to project scope, quantities, or specifications require written agreement, including any effect on price and timing. If we cannot fulfil an accepted order, we will inform you and refund amounts paid for the goods or services we cannot supply.

A separately agreed written contract governs the specific transaction where it differs from these general terms. Neither a contract nor these terms can remove mandatory rights under applicable law.

3. Prices and payment

The currency and total payable amount, including applicable VAT and agreed delivery or installation charges, will be shown in the quotation or purchase process. We will not add undisclosed charges after acceptance. Payment methods, deposit amounts, due dates, and milestone payments are agreed in writing.

Where services are delivered in stages, the agreed payment schedule will link payments to those stages. We provide invoices and applicable warranty information. Please contact us promptly if an invoice appears incorrect.

4. Technology services and project delivery

Services may include software development, mobile applications, integrations, IT consulting, deployment, maintenance, and support, as specified in the agreement. Deliverables, dependencies, completion dates, acceptance criteria, and support coverage must be agreed for each engagement.

You must provide authorised access, accurate requirements, and necessary approvals. We will communicate the effect of missing information or changes on delivery. We will perform the agreed services with reasonable care and skill. Reporting a problem after an acceptance milestone does not waive rights relating to a defect or inadequate service.

Any hosting, maintenance, service-level, or subscription commitment applies only when included in the agreement. Renewal prices, billing intervals, and cancellation arrangements must be disclosed before subscription purchase.

5. Hardware supply, delivery, and warranty

The accepted order identifies the hardware model, quantity, condition, compatibility requirements, and any installation work. Refurbished, used, or custom-configured equipment will be identified before purchase.

Please check supplied items and report delivery damage, missing components, or an incorrect model promptly. A delayed report does not automatically remove statutory rights. Warranty coverage and its duration will be recorded in the quotation, invoice, or warranty document. Manufacturer or distributor procedures do not replace our legal obligations as the supplier.

Hardware defects, repair, replacement, returns, and refunds are addressed in our Refund Policy.

6. Software, intellectual property, and customer data

Ownership and permitted use of custom deliverables, source code, and project materials are specified in the project agreement. Do not assume a transfer of intellectual property unless it is agreed. Third-party and open-source software remains subject to its applicable licence.

You retain your rights in materials and data you provide and must have permission to share them. Access granted to us must be authorised. We will use customer materials for the agreed engagement and handle confidential information accordingly. Personal information is handled under applicable law and the privacy notice relevant to the website or product you use.

Do not use the website or supplied systems unlawfully, infringe another person’s rights, interfere with security, or attempt unauthorised access.

7. Cancellations and refunds

Our Refund Policy explains service cancellations, hardware returns, digital purchases, and how to request a remedy. Any voluntary change-of-mind arrangement is separate from legal rights for faulty goods, inadequate services, or other supplier failures.

A quotation cannot make all payments automatically non-refundable regardless of the circumstances. Any permitted deduction must be explained and supported, and must not reduce a refund required by law.

8. Responsibility and events affecting delivery

Each party is responsible for its obligations under the agreement and applicable law. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or removes rights to compensation, remedies for defective goods or services, or consumer protection.

If an event outside a party’s reasonable control affects delivery, the affected party should notify the other promptly and discuss revised arrangements. Such an event does not automatically allow us to retain payment for undelivered goods or services.

9. Governing law, complaints, and updates

Applicable UAE law governs these terms, including relevant laws of the Emirate of Dubai. Disputes may be referred to the competent UAE court or authority. You may contact a consumer protection authority without first completing an internal complaint process.

Questions about orders or these terms: contactus@etechworks.com. Support and complaints: support@etechworks.com.

Updates apply to future transactions. An existing purchase remains subject to the version agreed when it was made, unless the parties agree otherwise or the law requires a change.
