Privacy policy
Effective 20 October 2026 · Applies to the Study360 Android app, package com.etech.study360, and these Study360 support pages.
Data we process
| Data | What it includes |
|---|---|
| Account and profile | Email address, account identifier, display name and any school details you enter. Firebase Authentication handles passwords, verification and sign-in credentials. |
| Planner content | Subjects, teachers and rooms you enter, classes and timetables, academic terms and rotations, holidays, tasks, notes, progress, exams, revision links, focus history and planner settings. |
| Device settings | Language, appearance, reminder permission and scheduling settings, installation setup and optional app-lock choices. These are used to run the relevant app features. |
| Technical and support information | Hosting providers process technical request information, such as IP addresses, timestamps and errors, to operate and secure the service. If you contact support, we receive what you choose to send. |
| Local study documents | Documents and their attachment metadata are encrypted on your device and excluded from cloud sync, Android backup and AI requests. Free includes 3 stored documents across the planner; Pro includes 5 per item. Deleting a document frees a space. Scan pages using the on-device Google ML Kit scanner, or import selected files. Scanner components may need an initial Google Play Services download. PDF/image export and sharing create copies only at your request; Office files open in a compatible app you choose. Uninstalling or clearing app data removes local files; export important copies first. |
| Optional AI requests and uploads | The planning text and timetable photos or PDF pages you select, the school time zone, date, language and subject names needed to interpret them. These are submitted only when you request AI processing. Other planner records are not automatically attached. |
| Optional calendar connections | Selected device calendar names and event details, and app-created events you explicitly choose to export. The Android calendar permission is required for this optional Pro feature. |
| Monthly AI usage | Counts of generated planner items and successfully processed timetable uploads, with temporary job reservations, enforce your account allowance across devices. Counters contain no prompts or document content and are retained until account deletion. They reset for usage purposes each UTC calendar month. |
| Subscription information | Google Play product identifiers, purchase token and subscription or one-time purchase status used to verify access. Google Play handles payment details; Study360 does not receive your card information. |
| Advertising | Google Mobile Ads may process device or app identifiers, IP address, technical diagnostics and ad interactions to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud and honour privacy choices. Study360 does not send planner titles, notes, uploaded schedules or AI requests as advertising targeting data. |
The app does not request your contacts, location or microphone. A system photo/document picker reads only the upload you select; an external camera app can capture a timetable when you choose Take photo. Biometric templates are handled by Android; Study360 receives an authentication result and does not receive or store your fingerprint.
How the data is used
- Create and protect your account, verify sign-in and process account recovery.
- Save and display your local planner. Pro accounts can synchronise planner records across devices signed into the same Study360 account.
- Calculate schedules, deadlines, progress, conflicts and focus intervals, and deliver reminders you enable.
- Handle exports, deletion requests, support and service security.
Free accounts authenticate with Firebase but keep planner content locally. Pro membership is verified by the server; cloud sync and new paid operations pause when access expires, while local records are preserved. AI requests produce suggestions only: you review, adjust and confirm them before they enter your planner. Free users may receive a banner or an inline sponsored card; Pro users do not receive ads.
Service providers and disclosure
Study360 uses Google Firebase Authentication for accounts and Google Cloud Run and Firestore for its API and cloud planner storage. The planner backend and Firestore database are configured in europe-west1. Authentication and other provider operations may use Google's wider infrastructure. See Google's privacy information.
Optional AI scheduling uses the configured Ollama service, with OpenRouter as a fallback for provider availability failures. The same selected request and uploads can be sent to the fallback. These services may process data outside the planner storage region. See Ollama privacy information and OpenRouter privacy information. Do not include sensitive information that is unnecessary for scheduling. Google AdMob supplies ads and its consent/privacy interface. Where required, you can review privacy choices in the app under Privacy & account → Ad privacy options. The current implementation requests non-personalised ads and uses restrictive child/under-age treatment; this does not mean no technical data is processed. See Google advertising information.
We use these services to provide Study360, not to publish your planner. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect the service or its users, or when you deliberately export or share it. Support messages go to EtechWorks at the address below.
Security
Network requests use HTTPS. The server verifies account identity and restricts planner access by account. Local planner data is encrypted on Android; optional app lock uses your device's available biometric or screen-lock protection. Cloud synchronisation is not end-to-end encryption. Keep your device and sign-in credentials secure.
Retention and account deletion
Planner records remain associated with your account until you remove them or delete the account. For Pro accounts, pending offline changes may synchronise when the app reconnects. Free data remains local. Encrypted AI job input/output is retained for at most 30 minutes of application access and removed on cancellation or result acknowledgement; Google Cloud TTL cleanup is asynchronous. A reviewed draft saved on your device remains until replaced or cleared. AI providers apply their own processing and retention policies. Minimal purchase ownership receipts may remain after account deletion to prevent reuse of a purchase by another account; planner content is not retained in those receipts. Deleting the account removes cloud planner records and the Firebase sign-in record. A minimal technical account-deletion marker is retained to prevent late or in-flight requests from restoring deleted records; it does not contain your planner content. Technical service logs are subject to the hosting provider's retention controls.
You can delete your account in More → Privacy & account → Delete account. A recent sign-in is required. Export information you want to keep first. Copies you exported or shared remain under your control. A device that is offline may retain its local copy until its session is cleared or the application is removed.
You can also request deletion without reinstalling the app: follow the Study360 account-deletion instructions. Support must verify account ownership before acting on an emailed request.
Your choices
- Edit your profile and planner information in the app.
- For Pro, control reminder categories, quiet hours and Android notification permission. Delivery depends on Android settings and recent Pro verification; reminders stop after the verification lease expires until the app reconnects.
- Enable or disable app lock in the account settings. Widgets hide planner content while app lock is enabled, after sign-out or once Pro verification expires.
- Disconnect device calendars, cancel AI requests, export your planner or delete your account. Calendar disconnect removes only events created by Study360 from selected target calendars. Exports and external copies remain under your control.
- Contact support about access, correction or deletion of your information.
School use and children
Study360 is a personal planner. This release does not provide school administration, classroom sharing, public profiles or messaging. If you are not old enough to consent to account and data processing where you live, use the service only with the appropriate parent or guardian involvement. A parent or guardian can contact support about a child's account.
These website pages
The Study360 pages are static and contain no analytics scripts, advertising scripts or tracking forms. The web host processes ordinary requests to serve the pages. Links to Google Play and email are handled by those services when you choose to open them.
Changes to this notice
If the app's data practices change, this notice will be updated. Review the current notice before using optional AI uploads, calendar connections or a purchase offer. Google Play subscriptions, when available, can be managed in Google Play; deleting the app or account does not itself cancel a Play subscription.
