1. Who we are

eTechWorks operates Budget360, a personal-finance recording and planning application. Contact support@etechworks.com for privacy questions or requests. This policy explains the current application and its optional connected features.

2. Records on your device

Accounts, transactions, amounts, currencies, descriptions, notes, categories, budgets, recurring schedules and import review drafts are stored in an encrypted device ledger. Legacy tag references in older transactions may remain for compatibility. Language, appearance, terms acceptance and device security choices are local preferences. Device biometrics and screen-lock credentials are checked by the operating system; Budget360 does not receive your fingerprint or device PIN.

3. Account registration and sign-in

A Google or email/password account is required. Firebase Authentication handles credentials and verification. Budget360 stores your account ID, email and verification status, display name, providers, registration/sign-in/last-seen dates, language, platform and app version in owner-scoped Firestore records. Setup completion, currency, situation, default-category selections and reminder preferences are also saved to your account so returning installations can restore setup. OS notification and biometric permissions remain device-local. Server-managed subscription records track plan and status. Google Play purchases are verified with Google using a purchase token and a hashed account association. Tokens are encrypted for verification and renewal checks, with a token hash preventing reassignment to another account. Passwords and Firebase authentication tokens are not stored in these records. Sign-in alone does not upload financial records or copy old private profiles. A previously registered session can use local records offline.

4. Record sync to Firestore

After you sign in and explicitly enable sync for a profile, its confirmed financial records, notes and schedules are sent over HTTPS through the Budget360 API to your owner-scoped Firestore records. Necessary profile identifiers, versions and commit receipts support retries and conflict review. This is record synchronization, not a file backup. Original PDFs/CSVs, scanned pages, PDF passwords, unsaved import drafts, device keys and backup archives are excluded. Disabling sync stops future automatic sync; it does not erase records already stored in Firestore.

5. AI document recognition

Imports use AI recognition. Original files remain in the selected device folder. Selecting Process transactions sends selected text and necessary PDF or image pages over HTTPS for processing under your account plan. Previewing, sign-in and sync do not start recognition. Background recognition temporarily stores encrypted source content, replaced by an encrypted review draft after processing. Results are removed after local review persistence and acknowledgement, cancellation or 30-minute expiry. Physical cleanup is periodic and can be delayed; expired content is inaccessible through the API. Nothing is posted without your confirmation. Smart Money Review sends selected-period income, spending, category totals, budgets and pending recurring estimates for AI analysis when you request it. Original files, raw transaction notes and account numbers are not included. Reports are saved in your encrypted device storage; if profile record sync is enabled, authenticated encrypted copies are saved in your owner-scoped Firestore records. Reopening a saved report does not start another analysis.

6. Other services and permissions

Currency conversion requests public reference rates without sending statement contents or transaction amounts. Camera/file access and notifications use their respective permissions. Optional push uses Firebase device tokens and generic messages. Cloud file backup is disabled. Free accounts include banners, sponsored native cards and optional rewarded videos through Unity LevelPlay mediation and Meta Audience Network. We ask for an age group before requesting ads; under-13 accounts receive no ads or video rewards. Providers may use advertising identifiers, device/network information and ad interactions to deliver, personalize and measure advertising and prevent fraud according to their privacy settings, existing consent signals and applicable regional rules. An age answer is not consent to personalized advertising; we do not manufacture consent or erase CMP choices. A random installation identifier and random reward identifiers verify completed videos; no email, financial records or document contents are included. Budget360 stores reward-verification metadata to prevent duplicate grants and recover failed actions. Premium is ad-free. Budget360 does not sell financial records.

7. Hosting and security

Budget360 uses Google Cloud Run and Firestore; the current development database is in europe-west1. Google authentication and infrastructure services may process account/security metadata in other countries under their own privacy terms. Authorized server operations are scoped to your account and profile; direct client access to the database is restricted. Financial contents, passwords and tokens are not intentionally written to application logs. Providers may retain technical connection, security and service logs. Encryption and access controls reduce risk but cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Retention and removal

Local records remain while retained in the app and may be lost when app data or encryption keys are removed. Original files and exported backups remain in the folders you control until you remove them. Synced records and immutable retry receipts remain in Firestore while needed for the service; disabling sync, signing out, uninstalling or deleting a local profile does not delete those server copies. Request deletion of your Budget360 account and associated server data from the account page or https://etechworks.com/budget360/delete-account/. Requests go to support@etechworks.com; identity verification may be required. Automatic receipt-retention cleanup is not yet available; legal, security and provider backup obligations may affect completion. No instant or fixed deletion deadline is promised.

9. Your choices and rights

You can keep records only on your device, enable or disable sync per profile, manage permissions, review/edit records and export supported local records or encrypted backups. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to processing, withdraw an optional choice, or complain to your local data-protection authority. Contact support@etechworks.com; identity verification may be required. Withdrawing a choice does not undo completed processing or erase existing cloud copies.

10. Children and policy changes

Budget360 is intended for people permitted to use it under applicable law, with parent or guardian involvement where required; it does not target children or knowingly collect their data for advertising. Contact support if a child has provided data without appropriate authorization. Material privacy changes will be reflected in a dated policy and relevant in-app notices or renewed choices where required. This policy does not grant camera, AI, sync, backup, notification or purchase consent.
